Todo este hueso es mío es el libro aún en preparación de Miquel Noguera y Jonathan Millán que recoge observaciones inteligentes de la naturaleza acompañadas de rigurosas explicaciones además de detalladas historias que pudieron ser de desenlaces no menos grotescos a los que son; una colección ilustrada con rigor de los porqués que pasan inadvertidos excepto para la imaginación reveladora de los artistas.
Imaginen un surtidor de chocolate a la taza situado a una altura casi infinita. Si tenemos en cuenta que a mayor altura más delgado se vuelve el chorro, a una altura casi infinita, el chorro será casi infinitamente delgado e imperceptible para el ojo humano. Por lo tanto, cuando el chocolate llegue a la taza y empiece a acumularse parecerá que éste se genera espontáneamente dentro de la taza.
Repara y apunta con ingenio y explica con talento. A primera vista (con Jonathan a mi lado en el ordenador del mostrador de la sección de libros infantiles de la librería en la que ambos trabajamos), me fascinó la casa de “El Exorcista” tras un año sin resultados; a segunda vista (en la tranquilidad de mi habitación a puerta cerrada con el tiempo casi infinito de la noche) me fascinó aún más. No sin esfuerzo alguien que no presta atención a la actualidad, el cine, la literatura, la música y la televisión puede disfrutar de todo este hueso.
No dejéis de apreciar el buen trabajo de Jonathan!

Chris Appelhans is a visual development artist who, among other projects, worked extensively on the new movie Monster House. His previsualization art for that movie is particularly striking (…), and there are a number of images from the project on his site.
There are also images from an upcoming project that is an adaptation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland which apparently takes place in a modern urban/sci-fi setting called Underworld. Art from these and other projects can be accessed from Appelhans’ Portfolio page, along with landscape sketches, doodles and an animated Superman short.
There is also a link there to the archive of his series of short webcomics, frank and frank.
Appelhans is featured in the Art of Monster House book and is a contributor to the Flight 1 and Flight 2 comics anthologies.
There is a nice post on Stainless Steel Droppings which indicates that Appelhans is a Pixar employee and goes into more detail on his current and upcoming projects. Appelhans is also an instructor for the Gnomon School of Visual Effects

its baffling to me, that some images these artists works on for hours and days and weeks even,
